We love visitors and love to entertain, after all that’s part of being a Weekend Bum! The first evening of competitions are usually “social” and prep time, please come by to say hi if you’re in the area. The second day of competitions is when it all happens, Bums get serious and won’t have any time to visit…you’re welcome to come after 2:00 the second day and help clean-up!
We will announce what competitions that we’ll be having a “party” the night before.

Our first competition ever last year! A KCBS sanctioned event, $10,000 in prize money. People’s Choice open to the public, opportunity to taste and vote for your choice! Weekend Bum BBQ won 1st Place in last year’s People’s Choice for our pulled pork!
Northwest Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center benefits from this event as a fundraiser.
